Academically trained as an architect, Albury’s work references his extensive training and skill in technical drawing. His meticulous pen-and-ink works depict familiar sights to any New Yorker, water towers and high-rise buildings, but Albury’s attentive gaze imbues these everyday sights with elegant detail. Albury’s work, on his vast scale suits his subject matter beautifully and effortlessly conveys a city teaming with life in all its intricate, dizzying detail.  Albury exhibited in a joint show at ROOQ Fine Art in NoHo in New York City, completed his first ever solo exhibition of drawings, prints, and woodblocks, showcased at Primary Wave in the Union Square Neighborhood of Manhattan, and completed his first large-scale permanent installation at Saatchi & Saatchi North American Headquarters in the heart of New York City.  He recently completed a large commission for a two-part wall mural in Class A Office Tower in The Domain of Austin, TX. He is also preparing further work for an upcoming wall mural, his largest yet, in San Francisco for early to mid 2023.
